Our Work in Action
Project Johns Creek Lunar New Year Festival
The Johns Creek Lunar New Year Festival, which we proudly sponsored in both 2023 (Year of the Rabbit) and 2024 (Year of the Dragon), brought together nearly 8,000 attendees to celebrate Asian traditions and the Chinese New Year. The event featured a vibrant mix of traditional and modern East Asian performances, showcasing Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, and many other Asian cultures. Attendees enjoyed a variety of foods, cultural displays, and the opportunity to connect with one another in celebration of these festive occasions. Through our sponsorship, we supported event logistics, community outreach, and social media promotion. Additionally, we hosted a booth where we served dumplings and successfully raised over $500 in donations for Ginger Ah.
Project Ginger Ah
Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women worldwide, with 2.3 million new cases in 2020 alone. Nearly 70% of patients undergo mastectomy, which leads to physical changes and challenges in finding suitable bras. Ginger Ah provides a solution. Working with thousands of patients, testing designs, and understanding the needs of postoperative women, the “Jianghao” postoperative bra was born in June 2021. Today, led by Ms. Yu Xiaodan, Ginger Ah is committed on making mastectomy bras for the over 2 million women in China who have experienced mastectomies as well as expanding to the United States to support even more patients. At BNT Foundation, we’ve committed our resources to bring more attention to this awesome product and organization. We’ve sponsored Ginger Ah’s “Try-On Meetings” where people from different cities can come try on the clothing. We have donated over 600 pairs of these bras and 30,000 dollars so far to help patients regain their confidence. We have also managed personalized fittings for 5,000+ breast cancer patients across key regions (including California, New York, Georgia, Singapore, and Shanghai).
